Marking Bill Charlap’s tenth anniversary as the series’ musical director (following its founder and artistic director, Dick Hyman), the evening was non-stop music, presented warmly by a star ensemble of musicians.

Their credits first: Bill Charlap on piano and vocals; Ted Rosenthal on piano as well (including on two bright two-piano sessions with Charlap), Harry Allen on tenor sax, Jon-Erik Kellso (trumpet), James Chirillo (guitar), Todd Coleman (bass), and Dennis Mackrel (drums). Starring on vocals: Sandy Stewart.
