Henry Mancini - Cabaret Scenes

Charles Busch: Charles Busch Sings Johnny Mercer

Although Busch sang fewer than a dozen numbers, each seemed like a polished gem in a stunning musical crown.

The vocalist could give lessons in connecting with an audience.

She was warm, focused, and refined.

It was part cabaret performance, part talk-show, and part birthday party.

Handsome and big-voiced with stage presence and humor.

One of the great voices of Broadway and beyond.

An entertaining evening of celebration, commendation, and nostalgia along with a few surprises.

Brian De Lorenzo has a fine command of the stage and a secure vocal style and range.

A fine cast...a wide variety of material and approaches.

The exquisite Christine Andreas was in top form.
