The Mabel Mercer Foundation presented the first evening of its 30th New York Cabaret Convention on Monday, October 28 in the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center. KT Sullivan, Artistic Director of the Mabel Mercer Foundation, introduced the night’s host, Deborah Grace Winer. The theme of the evening was The Sunny Side of the Street: Celebrating Dorothy Field & Great Women Songwriters. Christine Andreas was awarded the Donald F. Smith Award, underwritten by Adela & Larry Elow.
