David Kenney

David Kenney, the creator and host of the long-running radio program Everything Old Is New Again has announced the loss of the program’s home at WBAI, the listener-sponsored station on 99.5 FM. All programs have lost their home as Pacifica Network decided on October 7, 2019 to shut down operation of its New York affiliate due to finances.

For 41 years, David provided an outlet for those associated in any way with the music business—be it cabaret, Broadway, authors, songwriters. He conducted in-studio interviews with stars and those new to the scene, providing them with much needed exposure. Over two hours every Sunday night from 9 pm-11pm ET, he played countless cuts from a variety of recordings.

Once Pacifica gets it finances in order, David is hoping to be a part of the relaunch of WBAI. To quote David: “If that ever happens.”

He is also in the process of looking for a new home or perhaps creating a home of his own.

In the meantime, he’ll present some our his previous broadcasts. Stay tuned.
