The Mabel Mercer Foundation kicked off its 27th New York Cabaret Convention on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in the Rose Theater at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Hosted by the Foundation’s Artistic Director, KT Sullivan, the evening boasted many well-known voices and quite a few first-timers to the Convention.

Natalie Douglas was honored with the Donald F. Smith Award, receiving a beautiful plaque and a generous stipend from Adela & Larry Elow. Maureen McGovern, who closed the show, received The Mabel Award.
