“Pure art.” — Taking Over the Universe
“Staying true to his cabaret roots, he has easily injected a flair for the dramatic into every carefully placed lyric. His delivery is classier than your standard recording artist and that sets him apart from so many other vocalists.

Morphium Kabarett is a weekly, Monday night salon featuring special musical guests from the worlds of opera, cabaret, pop, and beyond. Named for the sensual, Spoliansky-penned waltz (famously danced to by a nude Anita Berber), Morphium Kabarett is musically directed by Tracy Stark (“Superb, virtuosic pianist” – New York Post), and features the music of Friedrich Hollaender, Kurt Weill, and Mischa Spoliansky, mixed with Kylie Minogue, the Supremes, and myriad unexpected others, in a neo-Weimar cabaret fantasia.
Kim David Smith is an Australian Helpmann Award-nominated singer and cabaret performer, known for performing Weimar-era inspired works that juxtapose authentic musical material with stylistic takes on current popular tunes.
