For some time now, Cabaret Scenes has had a segment on David Kenney’s weekly radio program Everything Old Is New Again on WBAI, 99.5 fm (WBAI.org; oldisnew.org) during which editor Frank Dain would discuss the latest issue of the magazine and play tracks from CDs of those featured in the issue.
Well, we are taking this one step further to present Everything Old Is New Again LIVE at the Metropolitan Room the first Sunday of each month. It’s like the old days of radio when Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra sang in front of a live studio audience while the show was broadcast.

Each month, Frank will invite two or three people who are in the latest issue to have a brief chat and to perform. He’ll also discuss highlights of the cabaret scene.
