Broadway actor and singer John Treacy Egan will join vocalist Beverly Taki and the David Shenton Orchestra as the special guest artist at Stage 72 at the Triad, 158 West 72nd Street between Broadway and Columbus Avenue, on Friday, December 5 at 9:30 p.m.
Egan has appeared in numerous award-winning Broadway productions, including Sister Act, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, The Producers, and Jekyll & Hyde. He will perform several Broadway favorites, including selections from The Producers and Phantom of the Opera.
Taki, a dynamic vocalist who recently appeared at Carnegie Hall and Symphony Space, performs a varied musical program of rhythm and blues, pop, and Great American Songbook classics, from Elvis to the Beatles to Michel Legrand, backed by the world-class David Shenton Orchestra.

About the Artists
Acclaimed actor and singer JOHN TREACY EGAN has appeared widely on Broadway, on hit television series, and in major motion pictures. Egan recently was a member of the TONY-nominated cast of CASA VALENTINA at Manhattan Theater Club. He created the role of Joey in the Broadway production of SISTER ACT, and he created the role of Chef Louis in DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID on Broadway. He played Max Bialystock in the Broadway production of THE PRODUCERS as well as the roles of Roger DeBris and Franz Liebkind. He was an original cast member of the Broadway production of JEKYLL & HYDE and Roundabout’s BYE BYE BIRDIE. Off-Broadway, Egan created roles in Howard Crabtree’s WHEN PIGS FLY!, DISASTER The Musical, and BATBOY The Musical. He has performed at Carnegie Hall as Nicely Nicely in GUYS & DOLLS with Nathan Lane and Megan Mullaly.
Egan has appeared on television in BOARDWALK EMPIRE, NURSE JACKIE, 30 ROCK, CUPID, LAW & ORDER, in the film LAST NIGHT, and in the film version of THE PRODUCERS. BEVERLY TAKI is an accomplished singer and entertainer who has performed at numerous New York venues, including Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, Symphony Space, the Plaza Hotel, the Iridium, the Metropolitan Room, Theater East, the Delmonico Hotel, Caroline’s Comedy Club, and the United Nations. She began singing professionally at the age of 11, when she came to the attention of the legendary comedy team Allen & Rossi, who brought her to Las Vegas to be their opening act. She has also appeared in Las Vegas, Reno, and Lake Tahoe, and has toured extensively throughout Europe.
