It was a treat to see the “Grande Dame of Cabaret” on tour.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Abernathy’s beautiful resonant tenor; its warm timbre added luster to each of his offerings.

Her lyric interpretations demonstrate delicacy and range.

She moved through her songs with sustained energy and a flow that seemed totally spontaneous.

She's one of the theater's top musical delights.

While Darr can belt with the best of ‘em, it is when she sings from a quiet, true place, that she engages us best.
