Santa Baby - Cabaret Scenes

Sidney Myer

Sidney Myer (and company) cut through the noise to a wellspring of feeling—unhurried, endearing, teasing, and irrepressible.

Shana Bousard and Runbeck have sung together for years, and her Broadway soprano blended with his Broadway baritone like rum and coke.

An elaborate and spectacular entertainment.

Kudos to director Susan Back and guest music director Andrea Jill Higgins.

Lynch and Davis sang about fuzzy Christmas memories, but Flannery focused on the dark side of holiday memories.

Hopefully it will return to Don’t Tell Mama as an annual holiday tradition.

When she opens full blast, jazz, gospel, and r-&-b surge from gut and heart.

Alpert is still at the top of his game as a great trumpeter; Hall is a wonderful vocalist.

Well-Strung has a fierce capacity to entertain.

A playful, gregarious, multifaceted artist.
