“Karimloo has brought sexy back to musical theatre.” – The Public Reviews (London)
Iranian-born Canadian actor and singer Ramin Karimloo has proven to possess one of the most powerfully expressive voices in musical theater. He recently finished his run starring to great acclaim as Valjean in the Broadway production of Les Misérables for which he received a Tony nomination. He starred in both of the West End’s longest running musicals — The Phantom of the Opera and Les Misérables — and was hand picked by Andrew Lloyd Webber to portray the lead in his sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies. Other credits include Sunset Boulevard and Miss Saigon.
He played The Phantom in the 25th Anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall, which was streamed live to cinemas across the world. He performed its “Music of the Night” for the 25th anniversary of the show on Broadway.
