![]() She has fun with Steven Lutvak’s “The Dinner Party/Bagel Maker to the Czar” capturing the chagrin and moxie of explaining one’s prosaic ancestry to bluebloods. The evening’s standout was “The Babysitter’s Here,” in which Feldman offers the innocent, yet layered journey of the pre-teen worshiping her high-school age babysitter. “The Girl in 14G” challenged Feldman. It’s about a renter with an opera singer below and a jazz singer above. Feldman’s opera singer has energy, but the jazz riffer and at the end, the narrator herself, needs more. Feldman’s show closed with “May I Suggest” and captures that this tune is both a call to self-esteem and benediction. Feldman has always had the high notes and a connection to her songs.
