Mark Winkler hosts a  CD release party for his latest recording, Jazz and Other Four Letter Words. The CD is produced by Barbara Brighton.  It  features a lot of new Winkler originals including “Your Cat Plays Piano,” “My Idea of A Good Time” and “I Chose the Moon,” as well as standards like Gershwins’ “Nice Work if You Can Get It,”  Dorough and Frishberg’s  “I’m Hip,” and Rodger and Hart’s “I Wish I Were in Love Again.” Joining Mark are Jamieson Trotter on piano, Mike Shapiro on drums, Pat Kelley on guitar as well as saxophone and bass. It will be a party , with some old favorites by Bobby Troup and Laura Nyro thrown into the mix too!
